Merry Christmas 2017 and Happy New Year 2018!!!. It's a festival time of the Christian community all over the world. During the festival, there will be holiday so if you are planning to celebrate the greatest festival in Nepal and want to visit the beautiful places of Nepal, here are the lists of some popular destinations recommended for you.

Kathmandu Valley Tour
Kathmandu valley is the home to the temples, monasteries, old palaces, museums, rural villages, jungles and beautiful panoramic hills. There are 7 World Heritage Sites out of 10 within Kathmandu Valley, so you can walk around or explore these cultural heritages. The ancient temples, monasteries and palaces are in Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. The earthquake of 2015 made damages to few of these heritage sites but now it's ready for visit after the renovation. Among the popular places, Boudhanath stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Chagunaryan Temple are most visited destinations.

Pokhara Tour

Pokhara is one of the popular touristic hub after Kathmandu and the adventure city with the lakes, hills, jungles and local typical villages. Chitwan National Park Wildlife Tour
Chitwan National Park is the oldest national parks in Nepal and the habitat for one-horned rhinoceros, royal bengal tiger and some other endangered species of flora and fauna. It lies in the sub-tropical region ie terai region of Nepal at southern part. Here at Chitwan, you can visit Tharu village, witness Tharu cultural dance, do canoening, witness sunset views, visit Elephant breeding center, hike into the jungle, watch the activities of animals and birds by elephant safari, do jeep safari and enjoy the natural vista of Nepal. If you have time for one more days, do Maulakalika temple hiking or Devchuli Hiking in Nawalparasi or you can stay 1 night at Tharu village at Danda, nawalparasi where you can taste a typical Tharu dishes and witness Tharu Cultural dance.

Tansen Hill and Lumbini tour
You can either extend you tour from Pokhara to Lumbini or you can go from Chitwan. Lumbini is the buddhist pilgrimage site where you can explore Maya devi temple, Buddhist monasteries, museums and nearby villages.

Janakpur Yatra
Janakpur is the Hindu pilgrimage site where goddess Sita was born. There will be a greatest festival during Bibah Panchami. The festival is celebrated on the day when Lord Ram married goddess Sita in Janakpur. There are many other places to visit here.

On the way to Chitwan to Kathmandu or Janakpur to Kathmandu, you can visit Daman, a beautiful place for Himalayas views and local village sightseeing.
